In 2010, the interior enhancement of Baiturrahman Mosque in Gorontalo focused on the creation of a refined mihrab, handwritten Qur’anic calligraphy, an intricately carved pulpit (mimbar), and a cohesive interior design. The mihrab was crafted to balance function and elegance, while the calligraphy added a sacred visual rhythm to the prayer hall. The pulpit, made from fine wood, symbolized authority and humility. This project combined spiritual meaning with local craftsmanship, creating a serene and inspiring space for worship.
Custom Ship Mural for Kopi Warga Resto – Depicting the Ancient Spice Trade Journey (2023)
In 2023, a custom mural was commissioned for Kopi Warga Resto, capturing the spirit of the ancient spice trade routes that once connected the Indonesian archipelago to the world. The artwork features a stylized traditional ship sailing through vibrant seas, symbolizing the flow of culture, flavor, and history. Blending heritage with modern aesthetics, the mural becomes a storytelling centerpiece—inviting visitors to sip their coffee while journeying through time.
